Apparently "Rock pledges to repay taxpayers".

Well that's fucking big of them. How very generous they are.

    My first thought with this story was that it was a most excellent April Fool by the BBC- "Northern Rock will pay us back, who's going to believe that nonsense!"

    Turns out they published it yesterday and it is deadly serious.
